We've had a routine since day 1..Do treatment when he wakes up around 8am, 230pm and 7pm.. I would do 2 treatments and then my husband would do last one..When school started. we got a vest and made new schedules..We would get up at 630 am do treatments, meds and eat breakfast on route to school...

My son has a g tube and the port in his chest. the port is alot less noticeable then the gtube.. He likes it alot better than having to get a iv put in everytime he goes into the hospital.. the only thing that is the downside is that he has to have it flushed 1 a month if it is not being used...

Help. My son has Cf and has the feeding tube G/J. He has severe reflux and uses the Jejunal (J tube)for his night feedings and the GAstric (G tube) for his meds and any bolus feeds during the day.. He is an awful eater.. This last hospital stay they said his sugar was high due to the feedings...

Which hospital?? Do they have a child life program?? Our child life specialists are so good to my son..When he gets special procedures that hurt, they come in afterwards with a treasure chest for him to pick a special prize...Or they distract him with puppets or bubbles...They also babysit so...
