Liza,
I was told Creon didn't have the vitamin program, but apparently they do! Do you have any information about it (such as a phone number?). Or do you have to get a patient ID card through your clinic? I was told at my CF clinic that they didn't have such a program, so I'm happy to hear that!

I have not used my Altera for any other meds, but I have used my eFlow (the one used for tobramycin) for Pulmozyme. My doctor told me to use half a vial. I don't know about Albuterol or Xopenex though.

Not alone at all! I often want to bring it up to my urologist (who I see for kidney stones), but I haven't gone that route yet. He has an outpatient procedure that I might try (see below). But I often have to wear pads, especially when I'm sick. My spouse always laughs at me because I cross...

I am also a nurse, although I do not work directly with patients anymore (I do administration).
However, my spouse is an RT and has direct patient contact. As soon as she gets home, her scrubs go right down the basement. They get bleached in the wash as well.

Wow, I'm just about 2 weeks into Cayston and I feel AMAZING! I noticed last night that I have never felt this good...ever. I am not short of breath going up stairs. My cough is almost nonexistent. It's awesome! Now let's hope it stays that way for awhile <img...

I was just told by my eFlow/Altera pharmacy that the heads holes were punched differently and specifically for each medication they are made for. So it's likely that a different amount of medication would be inhaled if you used the incorrect head. Just what I was told, that it's a big no-no to...
