I've never heard of a rectal biopsy for a CF diagnosis. My daughter had that done before we found out she had CF but it was to test for Hirschsprung's Disease, not CF. I will you the best of luck on this.

Hi Tracey, It's actually my 6 yr.old non-CF that her teacher won't let her use sanitizer. My CF'er uses it at preschool. I'm wondering if I could get my daughter's (non CF) teacher to let her use it a lot if it would make a difference in helping her to NOT bring home bad bugs to my CF...

We just started our daughter on Ibuprofen Therapy a few weeks ago. She's taking 800mg/day for now, the studies on this is suppose to be very helpful in getting kids started on this early. HTH
