I just got admitted (boohoo) and am being desensitized to Bactrim while at the same time starting on Megace. I've been successfully desensed to Bactrim but I don't remember how mildly "rashy" or itchy I got in the past. So, now I have 2 mild red patches, no itching and I can't help wondering...

Thanks for all of the replies. Actually, theLostMiler, I like long detailed responses - the more information the better. I don't feel quite as nervous about it now. This morning it was a definate no-go, but now I think I'll talk to my doctor about starting at a lower dose and moving up...
