Our son has had a couple of these in the last month. It seems that after it bleeds though, it goes away. The doc gave us "Triamcinolone Acetonide Cream" that we put on under the button one-two times a day. Not sure if this helps it go away, but after it does go away, it looks healthy again. hth

Parker got his first RSV shot last week. we have a home nurse that comes in to give it and the flu shot. If this was a possibility for you, maybe this would lessen your fears of exposure?
