Not sure about fever with cayston but I do know lately for me around day 10 I start with this tight cough on cayston and I can NOT handle it. So I stopped it. I have it and LOVE IT. You have to use distilled water which means you have to buy it so that could be a pain. But I use mine everyday and I just love it. Gets everything all nice and disinfected and you do not have to bother with boiling water on the stove. It works for me<br>
