Our son was born severely jaundiced and was thought to need a liver transplant. During his MI surgery, they "washed" his liver and removed his gallbladder. He was on Ursodiol until age 2. His liver is now functioning properly and not giving us any trouble. At each appointment, the doctor (pulmo...

I don't think you are over-reacting. I would not want my CF child to be sharing anyone's cup. In my opinion, it is just one of those common sense things, like washing your hands before eating, that can cut down on sicknesses. There is no reason to use the saying "kids will be kids"...healthy...

Yes, we have been using Duocal for over a year now. I have trouble finding things to mix it with. But, I do use it daily in YoBaby yogurt. I put 3 scoops in a 4 oz container. It does not mix well with Pediasure, applesauce, cottage cheese, juice. But, we always do well with the yogurt.

We have been told to do this order: Albuterol, Hypertonic Saline, Pulmozyme. We do it all (twice a day) while doing the vest. We haven't been told to take any breaks between products. I read over the instructions we got and it did not say to wait any period of time between saline and...

My son (age two) also has bad breath. I've concluded that it is sinus related. We are currently using saline nasal spray twice a day. The breath seems to improve for a short while after the "squirt". We've also been told to rub Neosporin under his nose. I haven't seen any improvement from...
