I have a 9 month old puppy. He (Griffin) is the best thing ever! He definitely makes me get up and go more and how can you not smile when you look into their eyes?? I walk him at least once a day which is more exercise than I've gotten in a long time.

I'm on vfend and I'm also loosing more hair than normal. I've been on it for a year. I could never pin point what exactly it was that was making my hair fall out (one of my many meds, stress, etc) but maybe it really is cause of this drug.

The IWK is actually a top-notch hospital. It's in Halifax and it's where I was diagnosed. I received the most amazing care there. I'm kinda shocked that your friend is having so much trouble. I really can't say enough about the IWK and there competency.
