    washing out the lungs

Am I the only one that gets this done fairly routinely? I thought that most CFers did. I never knew there were such risks with doing so! I get it done once or twice a year. Personnally, I love them! I feel like a new person after it's done. The worst thing about the whole proceedure in my...

    Colonizing Pseudomonas

When you colonize pseudomonas, does your phlegm ever get clear or does it always stay yellowish to green? I've colonized it for a few years now. I've been on IV meds now for 3 weeks and my color sort of hit a plateau. It was green and started getting lighter right when I started meds, but now...

kinda nasty - bored at work and thought of a topic

I spit into my "booger bowl." I keep a few of those kidney bean shaped bowls that you get from the hospital around the house - one by my bed, one on the desk where I do my treatments, etc... I just empty it in the sink when I'm done with it. If I'm at work I use a tissue, if I'm out and about...

    Thank you!

I think it's great that you are doing what you worked so hard for. I gave up on school after it took me 4 years to get a 2-year degree. I decided that I wanted to live life, instead of spending the rest of it trying to get a degree that I might not live to get. Good job!
