    Enzymes!! AGH!

Does it ever get better? We never have a week of normal stools and its very frustrating. She'll go from having 1 large formed stool for 1-2 days to nothing for a day to several somewhat loose stools for a day. None of them are greasy and she doesn't seem uncomfortable. I just don't know what...

    Swallowing Creon pills

I am about to start working on getting my almost 2 year old to swallow her creon. I am curious about the timing. Do I need to wait for a few minutes after she takes the creon before she eats anything? Or can she eat directly after taking them? We don't have another clinic appt until April and I...

    Ostomy bags with infants

Our daughter had meconium ileus at birth as well. Had surgery when she was 4 days old and was in the NICU for 28 days (almost exactly your same scenario)! We had an ostomy at home for 2 months after that before they reversed it. We used hollister infant bags and wafers. We used a liquid...

    Pari Compressor/Nebulizer

I wonder how I could get a Vios as my replacement for the ProNeb? I guess when I call, I'll ask. The guys at our DME company said that so many of these compressors are not use to being used as much as CFers use them! I'll let y'all know if I get a Vios this time or not.

    Pari Compressor/Nebulizer

Not this time, but I will. The last time this happened, we ordered a new filter and replaced it even though it didn't look grey or old or however its suppose to look when it needs replacing!

    Pari Compressor/Nebulizer

We have a Pari compressor for our 18 month old. About 6 months ago it started to "act up". Meaning that it would take about 5-10 minutes to get warmed up before enough air would come through the nebulizer to adminster the medicine. It was very aggravating. So we called Pari and sent it back...

    Meconium Illeus

My daughter had meconium ileus at birth. We did not know she had CF until after she had emergency surgery. She was in the NICU for 28 days. Had surgery when she was 4 days old to repair a puncture that occurred while trying to dislodge the obstruction. She had an ileostomy for 3 months, then...
