I have seen PICCs inserted into the femoral artery. I have not yet seen a port there, but I am sure that it is fairly common. Did they mention a particular reason for putting it there? Just curious!

I also get very jittery when taking albuterol. I also get heart palpitations, which annoys me more than anything. I spoke with my doctor about this, and he prescribed Xopenex instead of Albuterol. I still get a little jittery with the Xopenex, but not nearly as much as with the Albuterol...

I just had my first DEXA scan a couple of months ago, and it was normal. Yay! I was worried before hand, because my vitamin D level has been on the low side of normal for the past year or so.
