Also I think that Zegerid otc stuff is a joke, my husband has went through 3 courses of it, it's supposed to be taken as a 14 day treatment and you're supposed to be good for 3 months ,NOT, it only works while you're taking it as soon as the course is over heartburn returns.

I know SSRI's and MAOI are most notorious for interacting with Zyvox and possibly causing serotonin syndrome. I take Remeron (mirtazipine) 30 mg which is a tetracyclic and although it is lower on the list than other types of anti-dpressants it still shows there is a high risk of interaction...

Thanks for your input. Septra is the same as Bactrim right? I forgot to mention Bactrim hasn't worked for me in awhile, even when it has come up as susceptible.
