Hillrom vs Respirtech

I'm going to side with Hill-Rom - they busted some serious tail to get us a vest upgrade before the end of the year (OOP was met for 2007) when we realized our insurance would spring for it in mid November. The 104 vest arrived 12/26 - and J is much, much happier with it than the 103.

    CF and indoor pets...

Unless you are getting a Poodle-mix from a shelter - it's a product of irresponsible breeding. Here's a Poo-Mix Rescue You are not guaranteed anything with a mix - other than it is a mix. It could...

Went to Mayo Clinic Cystic Fibrosis Center

Personally, I love the U of MN center - the adult clinic is awesome. I can't find anything about treating CF on the Mayo Pulmonary page. IMHO, I think it's a bit irresponsible to be recommending a non accredited center when there are two good centers an hour and a half from Mayo.

    Moving due to CF

I would be concerned about moving to such a humid location. My husband (CF) has problems with humidity, and so do I (asthma). We're in MN - and while the cold isn't the best thing ever, I'd take it anyday over high humidity.
