First and foremost GOOD LUCK!! Trust me, this is the best decision you'll make with regard to CF! I got my port placed a year ago and it was the best choice I've ever made. I actually got the idea and courage to do it through this site. I didn't even know it existed!

You may want to speak with your doctor in regard to stopping the TOBI. When I started Cayston the doctor said I could use it as a replacement to the TOBI. It may be something to think about. It certainly cut down my nebulizer time per day.
