HERE WE GO---UPDATED AND SAD :(

I don't think they can tell you not to get pregnant (also note, not a lawyer). It's not their f**king decision - otherwise they would mandate that all women in the military be on depo provera. -Michelle

    Sweating out salt

Instead of the tablets, have you tried drinking a sports drink (Gatorade or Powerade) during your race (since you are probably dehydrated as well)?

    Vitamin Drops

Have you ever looked into the SourceCF vitamins? I linked to the pediatric drops. My fiance switched from ADEKs to the SourceCF softgels almost two years ago.

    what is your opinion?

I problem I have with the money arguement is that you also assume that the R&D workers would be willing to keep silent about cure-supression. That's not going to happen. In order to determine if a medication is a dud, treatment, or cure, you have to do testing... who does the testing? It's...

    Meripenum and Tobramycin together?

Does your facility do sensitivity studies? You could ask the doc (or the resident) to go over the studies with you to explain why they chose the antibiotics they did.

    CF Spouses

Yeah, I'm not seeing the sobfest here. It's rather theraputic to know that there are other people who identify with your situation in a way that most people can't. Also - don't you have a name, Mr "I'm too good to have a log-in" -Michelle (who has a name AND a log-in)

    CF Spouses

And I just thought all those medications in the bedroom closet were for fun... And the vest therapies every day were a recreational activity... And the doctor visits, IVs, hospital stay, surgical scars, excessive mucus were... Yeah. Right. I think at the point of marriage - most people...

Wow - how about you sign your name, you coward. OMG, seeing this post is totally going to make me call off my wedding!!!!! I can't believe that CF people can get so sick! I'm so shocked... I'm going to go cry my angsty tears of pain. *gag* Maybe it's not shoveling today. It's making the...

    Glyconutrients

Personally - I think it's a load of bull due to the fact they won't get set-up for a clinical trial with the CFF. If you want to read a huge discussion - it's in the...

    Christmas complaint....

Quote
Originally posted by: Mockingbird The problem is that companies aren't saying "Happy holidays" to be inclusive; they are saying it to exclude Christmas. Just like renaming christmas trees to holiday trees. I don't see any stores renaming menorahs to holiday...

    Christmas complaint....

Atheist checking in here... I don't care which holiday I get wished. Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Holidays, Happy Boxing Day, whatever. It's nice to have people be NICE! What's bothering me is this whole "War on Christmas" crap. I don't see why people are so bothered by being...

If you came to my house in Japan

I'm in Minnesota - Minneapolis/St. Paul area. June is usually the rainiest of the summer. May has very questionable weather for outdoors. July is usually the hottest. We're planning a September vacation... So August worked out best for us. Yay pictures!

How to make my partner more comfortable with CF

I would suggest seeing if your partner would be willing to join a forum like this one. I know I've learned a lot being here. -Michelle

If you came to my house in Japan

August isn't exactly a picnic here (although, it's not THAT hideously warm and the humidity varies)... but it's about the best month for not having rain.

If you came to my house in Japan

We're getting married in August. I'd love to go to as many gardens as I could! I'm an outdoorsy kind of person.

    religion

You are aware of the fact that it is not known when Jesus was born, yes? Pope Julius I set the date as December 25. The celebration at the end of December was easy - since the solstice was already readily celebrated by "rival" religions. What better way to convert the heathens than to let...
