Not trying to scare you here but the sweat test is by no means conclusive especially when a negative result is given. The only true way to rule out CF is a complete panel genetic screening.

Not trying to be a kill joy here but most youngsters do fall into the mild category for no other reason than they haven't had the lung damage yet. Of course, mild actually refers to FEV and I'm guessing your daughter hasn't had one yet.
CF is progressive hence the reason you find more adults...
