Looking at percents is not preferred. A lot of centers are giving out the raw numbers rather than percent predicted. It's much more of an accurate picture as far as your FVC and FEV1 as well as FEV25/75 over a period of time

I heard about the studies on turmeric and curcumin being an anti-inflammatory, but never took any in large doses. What does seem to help me, at least in the short term, is anything extremely spicy. Although, I realize this isn't for everyone since most people can't tolerate high spice levels...

The benefit is that this isn't respiratory MRSA, that is, good handwashing and being careful around them will be ok, unlike respiratory MRSA where you have to worry about it becoming aerosolized with a cough or sneeze.

Phenergan is a pretty nasty drug, even if effective. I would try the Zofran first, they make sublingual versions so puking it up isn't as much of an issue. If Zofran isn't an option, (it is expensive) then I would choose compazine over phenergan.

Thanks guys. My ENT doc Rx'd thirty 10mg percocet yesterday. Seems it's either feast or famine. At least that will last me awhile, as 5mg is usually enough to take care of any breakthrough pain.
