I agree with Jason and the potassium. Low potassium can cause painful muscle spasms in the feet and legs. They usually don't last long and are seemingly random in their onset.

22g is not a very thick gauge, especially when compared to a 5fr PICC, so you are going to feel more resistance flushing through a 22g. Its like the difference between a fire hose and a garden hose.

Those home BP cuffs can be a bit dodgy, I would mention it to your PCP. The nose bleeds I would mention to your ENT. They very well could be separate issues.
