I have gotten one up and it appeared to have been one thin strand of mucous that was wound and wound utnil something similar to a large jelly bean was formed, it was hard and dark -- almost black it was very nasty. I too can 'taste' mine.

funny I thought this was jsut me, sorry cant help with the o2 questions, but I always get a really sore back (happens when I get sick too) then I feel 'tight' and then I usually have a bleed thereafter.
Lauren-hope that the bleed settles down and proves to be just that and not somethign nasty...
