Are you referring to IVF with pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD)? If so the process is pretty much the same but before they put the embryos back in they test each one to see if it is afflicted with whatever disease you are testing for then they only put back the ones that do not...

Why do people with cf take Predisone?
due to ABPA when your IGE levels get to high you have to take it until your levels get back down to about 1/2 what they are initially. It suppresses your bodies immune reaction.
