I am working as a chemist in pharmaceutical industry though my degree is biomedical science and unfortunately that division of my ocmpnay just got wiped (at my site) so not sure where I am heading or if I will remain in chemistry side things.

Pregnancy impairs the pancrease already and adding prednisone to it would be asking for trouble IMO as Jenny said. however that being said it is always a ratio of harm vs help so IMO if lung doc definately want you on it talk with OB first and see their opinion and it never hurts to do your own...

?? if you have the tobi in the new form then dont you have to use it every day? You cant use the other one in regular nebulizer can you?

one more thing, I have emailed CFsource for info and ordered the DVD.
Also, I think my RX insurance requires me to use certain pharmacies for my expensive meds tobi pulmozyme so there may be a glitch there, has anyone else ran into this? I think CFSource will vy to get me as my rx insurace...

just FYI for all of you who had carrier screening done to keep in mind that just because DH is negative for screening does not necessarily mean he is not a carrier, it means he is not a carrier for the 36 most common mutations (that is normally the panel done around here but some do a few more)...
