I am so happy you are in a better place now than a year ago. Although it has been hard it sounds as though you have learned a lot. I have found CF has taught me not only about the disease, but appreciation, faith, humility, courage, strength, weakness, patience, empathy...jeez I could go on and on...

Gina, you are a testament to show that if you love someone, like you do your daughter, you can gather the will and strength, and learn the ins and outs of anything. CF is a very complicated illness, and you having known absolutely nothing about it a year ago, to being well-versed in it now, via a crash course, does show how much you care about your daughter. You could have said, "screw it. This is too hard." But you chose the difficult path, and you have a very happy and healthy daughter because of your unselfishness. You should be proud.
