1 year ago today I was sitting in my office, my phone rang, it was Dr. Johnson...

Dr J: "This is Dr. Johnson..."

Me: Yes ???

Dr J: ?????????????????????????

Me: .........................

Dr J: ?????????????????????????

Me: (still heard nothing, heart pounding)

Dr J: "Breanna's sweat test came back elevated and indicates CF as I thought".

Me: ........................

Dr J: "Mrs. B..... "?

Me: ....................... crying

Dr J: "Mrs. B....."?

Me: "Can I please call you back, I think I am going to be sick".

Dr J: "I am so sorry to tell you this, yes please call me".
...........................................................

1 year ago today my world crashed, I had recently moved across country, divorced soon after and then it was just me & Brea, then the diagnosis came. I felt so alone, didn't know anything about CF, didn't know our future.

1 year, a divorce, the diagnosis, 3 hospitlizations and many sleepless nights later...my life has changed completely.

1 year later... I have reconciled with my husband, I have faith, I know CF, I am more understanding, my daughter is receiving the right treatments and I love life!

P.S. And best of all... I FOUND ALL YOU GUYS ! Thanks Melissa !
