ok call me sad but i was just thinking to myself i wonder how many tablets i swallow a year!!! So on average id say i take 35 tablets a day including vitamins, several anit-biotics, steroids, creon, etc etc x by 365 (God im sooo good at maths!!) and worked out i take 12775 tablets a year!!!

how many on average does any one else swallow more or less!?!

He, he, i was just thinking about this the other day. i'm such a nerd, though, I was going to try to figure out the cost of each pill, too, so see how much money goes down the toilet 'cause of me. =-) Ha, ha, it's mostly the insurance company's maney, though, and they kind of deserve it. =-) I know they'd drop me the second they got a chance if they legally could. <img src="i/expressions/devil.gif" border="0"> Stickin' it to the man! At the insurance company! He, he, I bet because of me he can't afford that fourth house at the beach he's been wanting. Oh well, I'll feel guilty later. =-)

oh my gosh mikey, you take 32!! Im supposed to take 8 but usually take 6. mine are creon 10000, maybe that haws something to do with it???

I did a similar thing with my son's vest the other day. As many of you probably know, the vest machine keeps a running total of hours used. My son is up to 412 hours. He has spent a total of 2 and 1/2 weeks getting CPT. Yikes - it's only been a little over a year for us. I can only imagine what some of your numbers are.

The amount of pills you guys take amazes me. You have my unending respect.

only 9000 here, I am glad that meds have progressed since I was a kid, I used to take 15 pancrease when I was younger. Now I only take 6 ultrase MT20, throw on top some motrin, zithromax, prilosec, and my "gluto" and that is 9000.

12975. When you put it into perspective like this, it's a ton. Over my 15 years of life that means I've taken... 194,625 pills.

a little off the subject, I would use my 15 pills as a freak show when I was in elementary school. I could and still can take them all at once(one gulp), actually 19 was my "record". I don't recommend this just something stupid I used to do to find acceptance when I was 10.

I think I only counted my tablets. If i countd my nebs it wouldd be...1460 added on to my total! Im lucky in that i dont need to take as many creon as some others so that reduces my total

Luke I used to do the same thing up through high school -- heck, if I still took as many I'd probably still be freaking people out with the monsterous handful of enzymes I gulped down all at once (I switched from Pancreas to Creon several years ago and am able to take fewer pills with Creon). I loved just dumping out a handful of pills, watching people's eyes bug out, and then throwing them all down like it was nothing. One summer a friend at camp couldn't swallow pills (we were in high school, she still had to take liquid tylenol) and people kept saying they should lock us in a room together so she could learn. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> Also, really funny, I used to stick my enzymes into whatever little pill bottle I had available, so they were often labeled completely wrong; once a girl saw me pouring out 11 pills from a bottle labeled Claritin or something and had a complete freak attack about how I was going to kill myself taking so many. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

I too show off how many pills I can take in one swallow...it gets ppl every time. I also keep my pills in any old bottle. That got me into drug trouble one time when I left a bottle in my band uniform pocket, lol. The uniform lady flipped out, but my band director knew I wasn't selling drugs to the other bandfags, lol.

Around 12000 a year I think... How many pills can each of you take at one time? I can take like 10. I can't take each one of mine seperately, it gags me. I have to do it all at once.
