4th sinus surgery tomorrow...

I have had 3 of them. The first two were pointless (due to bleeding and infection), the 3rd was very successful. I have not needed another surgery in 14 years.

I agree maintenance is the key-- flush, flush and more flushing. Infections are down in my sinuses as long as I keep flushing.

Saline nasal spray is my friend-- keep things flowing as well. My only trouble is occasional nose bleeds (I live in a dry climate).

Eventually I will need to have reconstructive surgery in my sinuses-- lots of bone and tissue damage from the polyps when I was a kid.
