Bonniebaby-you probably have bronchiectasis from so long of not being treated like myself and the low level infection just staying in there not being treated properly. From my understanding they dont treat us any differently persay than a typical CF treatment plan, it can just complicate things because it is easier for mucous to get 'stuck' in those low lying dilatated areas and for mucous plugs to form.
