A bit off topic

I plated some bacteria in my lab class, somehow the whole class ended getting contaminated plates. So this orange-pink stuff ended up growing instead of the white and green stuff that was expected. The professor has no idea what it is that grew. We do know it's amp resistant (plates had amp treatment), and it is temperature sensitive. Grew at about 27 C quite rapidly and more slowly in the fridge but that's it. I tried looking online to see what it could be but I'm not seeing anything. We weren't checking for Gram negative or positive strains. We were just seeing if our cloning experiment worked (which didn't since the orange-pink stuff just kind of took over). Does anyone know where I can look to get an idea of what this stuff is?
