Here goes.
Josh has been having a hard time the past few weeks with his sinuses and coughing (see last blog). The short story is, he's going in for a clean-out on Jan. 4th. In the meantime he is on cipro and 5 days of prednisone to try and get through finals and Christmas.
Today Josh said he's having a weird breathing issue. He tried to explain that it feels like he is breathing a larger volume of air (not deep breaths). When he is breathing in, it seems to happen before he is empty from blowing out. He can take a deep breath, and blow a hard breath out, but he said it is more comfortable for him to breathe the other way.
He said it doesn't feel like something is pushing on his lungs, just that his lungs are more full of air than usual. hmmm I couldn't think of a condition that would cause that to happen (or to create that sensation).
He has also been having anxiety issues and just increased zoloft so I wonder if it is related to that?
Any ideas?
