NO no no, you did not take over. That is specifically why I posted it was to tell others and help out if perhaps someone was thinking of it but didnt know how to go about it!

One thing I have to look up is now about breastfeeding and taking it. The studies were decent on pregnant women but of course little out there on affects of breastmilk but I have a couple good sources to look into yet.

Tammy,
I would definitely talk to your daughter's doctor about ABPA. I think they told me about it when my IGE was around 800 (I was 13 at the time.) I can't remember if they treated it at that point. By the time I was 16, my IGE's were near 2000. I spent the last 2 years of my high school career on steroids (and very miserable!) I am glad to hear that there are alternative treatments now, not just steroids. I'm not trying to scare you or anything, but I just think that this is something best caught as early as possible!

My CF docs said no to Xolair also, however I went to an allergist. Although my IGE was low (don't know numbers right now), the allergy tests showed very high levels for certain allergins. My allergist is pushing for Xolair, so I'm waiting on that too. I will be reading your blog on the topic. Thanks!
