ABX and sun exposure?

i think they say up to 2-3 weeks after stopping the meds you should still limit exposure. i'm on hardcore abx all the time and use spf 30 (Look for one with AVOBENZONE in it, min of 2%) and I'm fine as long as i remember to reapply.

if i were you though, i wouldn't try to get a base tan on antibiotics, you will still have an amplified reaction: UV radiation is UV radiation, no matter the source!!

I burned 2 weeks after my IV antibiotics this fall. My arms turned pink quickly.... I noticed I was burning about 20 minutes after being outside.

I know when i am on cipro or bactrim i can burn within a half hour with no protection. It seems too really hit the tops of my ears and my nose the worst...
