I started to take acidophilous pills for a yeast infection and it makes me feel feverish. Is this common or am I having a reaction to it?

I would think it is the yeast infection that is making you feel feverish. I know when I have had a really bad one (it was actually in my throat, like thrush) I had fever, throwing up, etc. And all this was because I had too much yeast in my system...the antibiotics I had been on for a lung infection had taken away all of the bacteria in my body, good and bad. And the good bacteria is the stuff that eats the yeast.

Can you take a tylenol and see if that makes you feel better? I suppose you could be having a reaction, but I would highly doubt it. I would tend to think that it is the yeast infection that is causing it.

I hope you feel better soon!
