Adult Forum

Is there a set of rule on what can and can't be posted as a topic
on the adult sections?  I never know where to post something
and I I post it in the wrong sections someone is going to post this
should be in a different forum...What's the deal?

I would go with CF related in the adult section - non-CF related in the Off Topic section.

I agree for the most part that if it isnt CF related it should go in the Off Topic section, but I also know that the OT doesnt get the views that the Adult Section does.......I, personally, dont have a problem with posting in the Adult Section as long as its labled OT for those not interested. I read just about everything so its no big deal to me; however, it has irritated other users!

I agree with Melissa. I PERSONALLY don't have a problem with OT posting if it's prefaced with OT- blah blah blah. Because sure, the OT section does exist but it doesn't get viewed very often and sometimes things that others might view as OT, we (the ones who are posting) feel it is very on topic/CF/life related because it is affecting us.

I know that's why I post about my friend in Iraq here, because it is devistating to Mark and I and although it doens't directly affect his CF, it's a major "life" concern for both of us and in the long run, really gets us discouraged about life in general.

Hope that makes sense. I am sure there are others who feel differently,but I don't know. I kind of think as long as you aren't taking away from someone elses thread (i.e. posting someting totally unrelated in someone elses post) it doesn't really matter.

I am wondering does it really need to be policed.  Yeah jokes
and stuff are not really appropriate but in Julie's last post I
didn't see the need for the few replies that said she posted in the
wrong place.  Do I now need to worry every time I post some
thing that I an going to get a rude reply telling me I put it in
the wrong place? I guess if that is the case I should have posted
this in the Off topic section...Sorry if I sound bitc*y today...I
am PMSing.

I am with the others. I have no problem with off topic posted here, as long as it is labeled such. Label it OT, or Off Topic, or whatever, and it can be here for all I care. I'm the same way, the Off Topic section doesn't get half as many views as does the adult section. So if I have something to say that's off topic, and I want everyone to see it, I'll post it here and label it, so people that want to can properly ignore it.

Hi Steph, I don't personally care one way or another and figure the best way to try and please people here is to put OT in the topic like everyone is saying. That works for me too, but really I don't care either way.
