Air In Stomach? What do I do?

I have the EXACT same problem! Sometimes it's pretty bad (maybe for a few weeks or months) and sometimes it's not so bad (like right now). I have no idea what the cause is though... but I would recommend not drinking sodas anymore. And I noticed that my distended stomach decreased some after I did some simple exercises. I'm not sure if that helped though...but it's worth a try<img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">

If you have a Mic-Key,you can attach a bolus extension to it and it will help release the air from your stomach. If you do not have a bolus extension, they can be ordered from your homecare company. If your stomach is not empty when you decompress your stomach, you will need to attach a bag to the end of the bolus extension. I personally use something called a Farrell Valve Bag to decompress my stomach instead of a bag. It helps to release the air from my stomach. These bags can be obtained from your enteral supply company as well with a prescription. good luck to you.</end quote></div>

yep, thats what they told me to do, since I have a MicKey.
My GI doctor also suggested pressing down on the stomach with the button open....weird, but it works.
