I've started doing albuterol aerosols for the last two weeks while on ivs instead of my inhaler and I have horrible tremors for hours after I do it. Its not just my hands that shake either its my whole body. Anybody else have this problem?

That can happen with albuterol. I know in children it sometimes makes the heart rate faster. Kids usually do so much better on Xoponex. It is usually a little bit more gentle on the system. You might want to ask to try it. I know you are an adult but it could be causing those symptoms in you as well. Hope that helps and you are doing well! Best wishes!

Get off of albuterol. Although it does open up the lungs I have had side affects that I believe were from that drug. I had to have an alblation due to a SVT-super ventricular tactacardis (forgive my spelling). I switched to xopenex years ago....much better....no heart problems

I can do one puff of my albuterol inhaler. I do 2 puffs and I have the jitters something fierce. When I do inhaled albuterol it is worse. I stick to the inhaler.... I only use it for my seasonal allergy related asthma attacks.
I am so sensitive to medications that the one puff is all that is needed!!!
I been having a high pulse and the albuterol doesn't help matters. Only take it when absolutely necessary the past week or so.
