I had a problem in my early twenties with anemia. I have since been taking iron & some type of vitamin with B in it. Nothing more since. I also take extra Vitamin K. CFers dont absor vitamin K well so that isnt unusual!

Hi Anika,

Yes, I have anemia. Actually, I was diagnosed when I was 12-years-old after just getting my first period. It's nothing to worry about. I have to take a daily Iron supplement and get annual bloodwork. The only time I may notice my anemia is when it is that time of the month. I tire out quicker than usual. If they recommend iron supplements, beware that some can give you nausea. I had to try three before they put me on one called Slow FE. You can buy it over the counter.

I also have anemia and just take two iron pills a day and then my doctor just checks my blood work to see how it is; I've only just started a few months ago.
