Another Great Appointment

Today was my dr. apointment. I had a really great one. My pfts has rose to 89% from 84 or 85 I cant remember. My weight is 136pds which is really nice. I feel really fat, and I believe that this is the highest Ive ever been, so happy, I feel great! I feel healthy, and I got a clean bill of health. The doc told me to keep doing what it is Im doing. I told him that if there is any other med out there to raise pfts up let me know, I highly doubt he will, Ill just have to keep my eyes open for any new med. My doc said I can come back in two months.


Some of you are probably wondering why I didnt post this in my blog, well, the reason I didnt is, because I think I get more replys on the forum itself then on the blogs.

What meds on you on?

Creon 20 9 w/meals, 3 w/snacks
Bactrim (antibiotic been on it forever it seems) 1 three times a day
Combivent 2puffs twice aday
advair 1puff twice a day
sinus rinse twice a day
flonase 2 squirts in each nostril in morning and 1 squirt in each nostril at night
pulmozyme 1 time a day
hypertonic saline 7%, 2 times a day
vest two times a day for 20mins frequency: 12 and 14 pressure: 6
Tobi twice a day 28days on and 28days off

Thats it, thats all my meds and also the order I do my treatments

NOTE: the hypertonic saline has really hepled on my pfts, I started the HS in February of this year I believe and my pfts has gone from 65% at the beginning of this year to 89%, and hope that it keeps rising.

No, once in a blue moon I may get a headache, and nose bleeds I dont get but, if I pick at my nose sometimes then itll bleed, sometimes bad.

It was for a bug that I had, but dont have anymore, why Im still on it I dont know, but it doesnt bother me cause its just a pill. I cant remember the bugs name, it was one of them wierd names.

OK, what the heck, you jenksed me!!!! My nosed had a bad itch, and so I rubbed it hard, and before I knew it, I had blood draining out!! i have tissue hanging out of my nose now, man thanks, I greatly appreciate it. <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif" border="0">

Has your doc ever put you on zithromax 3 times a week? Seems like a lot of adults are on it now.

To a sexyblonde, I dont believe I have been on zithromax, tho it does sound familiar, could you explain to me what it is and what its purpose is.

To Amy, a long time ago, I did take nasacort, but then the doc switched me to Flonase, been on that for 6 or 7 years now, something like that.
