BE CAREFUL with dramamine!!!! I took it on a cruise for sea-sickness and one of the symptoms is DRY MOUTH... not only does it cause dry mouth but dry LUNGS, it made the mucus in my lungs like cement, i wouldn't use it! But I would try the ZOFRAN definitely!

Well I will put it out there even though most of the abx I was prescribed said not to take them with dairy products if I didn't I would vomit unmercilessly so I would normally take the med with a small glass of milk. The med was still effective in treating the crud that I had so I do not believe it affected anything majorly in that respect.

Other than that I would eat ice cream or something else that was extremely cold. Popsicles ... a cold soda ... cold glass of water or something.

I am not really sure why but especially pre transplant when I would get nausea eating something cold was really the only thing that would help me. Once it hit my stomach it would just soothe things.

I hope you feel better.
Definitely try eating something small with the Bactrim when you take it. It should help with the nausea. At least I know it does for me. If I take Bactrim on an empty stomach I get sick too.
