I inhale it for 3 weeks at a time, I use it about twice a year as an alternative to TOBI so that I don't build up an immunity to TOBI. All I use as an anti-inflammatory is ventolin on a regular basis. At one point I used to use pulmiocort and azythromax I believe it was called.

A question for Diane-- What didnt you like about using zithromax? Do you have side effects from Biaxson? I tried Zithromax/3x a week. At first I had stomach cramps and some nauseau but it mostly went away after using it for awhile however I started noticing at times of having a slowed heart rate episodes- so I stopped taking the zithromax but am considering trying it again but also wanted more info on the Biaxson.

As strange as this may sound, the pulmicort was helping. I was on it for about 4 months, and then the doc wanted to see how I'd do without it. I haven't needed it since. Ventolin seems to do just fine for me at the moment.
