Any Dads?

I was just wondering how many Dads post and read on this site. It seems as though there aren't too many if any. I am a 48 year old dad with a daughter eight years old w/ cf and one 13 without. I find that this site is really helpful for moms and dads. I just happen to be the only one interested in it in our family.
When I go to parents night out at the hospital there is usually as many dads as moms there. Just wondering.
Bruce Dad of Sheila and Tamara.

Let's hear it for the Dads! Yep, I am the father of Megan, 9 w/o CF and Ryan, 5 w/CF.

As we all know, CF can often rip families apart because it is, indeed, very stressful and inexplicable heartbreaking to those who do not have to deal with it as parents.

Our family is hanging in there OK and I pray that all you other Dads out there are hanging in too! These CF children, ESPECIALLY little girls NEED THEIR FATHERS!

OK, I am off my soapbox ;-)

I know my hubby usually reads through the posts and logs on
occasionally; however, I'm the one that usually posts. He finds the
site invaluable! (Of course I'm speaking for him as he is at work.)

So I guess I was right. I waited to see how many dads would jump on and post and it looks as though there are not alot. It is nice to know who some of you are and thanks for your comments.

I can't help but be a bit suprised because to me this is the best thing in the world for a dad of a child (or children) with cf. I have grown so much from reading the blogs and forums. This is a whole new dimension and understanding about life for me. What wonderful people that share there frustrations, emotions and also support each other from a perspective that most people never even consider.

Wow! I love this site and I think that someday if we have enough dads we should have our own forum to share more from a fathers perspective.

I do have to say the moms and everyone else who participate in this site are wonderful. A big thanks to all of you as well.
