Any Kids of CFers

I realize that this CFer having babies thing is still a new venture in the world of CF, but since we have a few old timers I thought I would ask. Are there any kids of CFers who are old enough &/or willing to converse with someone as myself (well ok..MYSELF). I am interested in getting feedback on what it was like either growing up (preferrably, but dont know if this is realistic) with a CF parent or just the thought process of having a CF parent.

Well, I'd stick my six year old on here to talk to you - but he doesn't know I have CF. I know, I know, it seems wierd, but until recently (like in the last two weeks!) Cf has played such aminor role in my life that I never saw any need or even an opening to tell him. Eh never asked why i cough or take medecine when i eat, and I never bothered to tell him. Lately I have been feeling worn down and wondering how much is Cf related and how much is pregnancy relatd, and thinking that if it is Cf related it is time to let him know. But like I said, there have been no hospital visits, no IVs...I just got my first nebulizer about 2 months ago, so ven that hasn't been around long. But he needs to know and so soon I am going to tell him. Luck has ben good to me so far, but....well, you know the rest <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">
I'll be interested in keeping up with this thread to see if any CFer kids do pop in.

AHava's actually done the whole AIM thing before, I just read it to her, and type for her. We discovered this when she wanted to talk to Emily lol. So, my 5 year old is here for ya.

Tho I appreciate the offer & I am sure it would be an intrigging conversation I was hoping for someone a wee bit older. It would be interesting to have Ahava & Jazmine chat tho.....except I think Jazz would chat Ahava to the point of no return. She takes after he Mom in that aspect!

Melissa, if memory serves me, I believe the user BigBee's dad had (passed away) CF and she's older and grown up. Maybe PM her?

OH Yeah.....I knew that Julie. Just needed a kick start to the brain. Thanks (as she says ouch, she has a hell of a kick for a prego with triplets)!
