Any Veterans with CF?

I was diagnosed with CF in May...1 week before my 52nd birthday. I have had a good life and am in a good place now. This disease, however, has always been an issue for me (sinus/lung infections since I was a child, CBAVD), though it went undiagnosed for so long. Amazingly, I had a 20-year career in the military and made it through with this never being diagnosed. I am just now, though I've been retired from the Navy for 10 years, trying to navigate the VA medical system. Any tips on CF and and the VA would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, I am a veteran. I spent 5 years active duty, 4 years active reserve and then went inactive reserve due to I'll health. I was thinking about navigating the VA too, but I haven't yet. I was separated from the inactive ready reserve because I couldn't pass the physical to return to active status. Please let me know if you learn something. I will ask at clinic in October if they know anyone in our situation.
