Anyone get gestational diabetes?

Thanks everyone! I figured my enzymes wouldn't make a difference, but a little part of me was hoping that was why I failed the first one <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">. I'll let you know how it goes!

Candice, how's everything going with the little one?

it is going good. it's so wonderful to have him home!! he's such a good little boy! ok so maybe last night he might have been a little needy, but i still love him and he's worth every bit of lost sleep! he's so tiny and so precious!!! i never knew how much you could love someone. such an awesome feeling!!! i'll hopefully be posting some new pictures soon! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif" border="0">

I had gestational & controlled it with insulin. It was a real crash course in diabetes & quite overwhelming. I did long acting & fast acting insulin & had quite a few crashes from it all.

I didnt do enzymes before my testing & dont see it making any difference.

Sorry to hear about the3 GD & good luck!

Sorry to hear about the 1-hour test. I thought the 3-hour test was a pain because I was so starving by the end. Ironically I passed the 3-hour after failing the 1-hour. It's so common for pregnant CF women to get GD, so you're definitely not alone. My doctor did a study on it and found that at least 50% develop GD. Good luck with the test!
