Anyone have a private water well?

In the US it is suggested to test well water (with no previous problems) once a year.

We treat our home's well water with an inline UV purification system. We have a Hallett. We recently got it tested by an independent lab and there's no bacteria. We also have a sediment filter. We wrote off the equipment as a medical deduction on our taxes.

I assumed something needed to be done since the water is not being treated, but I'm finding that that might not be the case. I think I'll have their water tested before they purchase anything. They have a sediment filter due to an excess of iron, but the UV system sounds good. Thanks for the tip LouLou, I'll definately hold onto that receipt.
