Anyone have any ideas for what is wrong with me?

Now we are not speaking emotionally so no comments from the peanut gallery..

I can't seem to figure out what the heck is going on with me, my arms had about one week of not being numb and now they are right back to being numb, heavy, and clumsy.

I am not on any new meds except the one for the migraines but I had this numbness before then. I am going back the neurologist next week, which says a lot because I am trying to get ready to take my boards and I have nothing planned for next week, but this is so annoying, I am back to dropping things, numb lips etc.

Has anyone ever experienced this before? I know I am going to get more tests and a muscle biopsy.. I am kind of worried because it just won't go away..It is much worse when I am tired, hot or rundown.

Auntie can't be sick!!!! <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif" border="0">

I have no idea what it could be, is the mengitis all cleared up? Could it possibly be related to that?

I'm thinking of you (as always) and hope you get answers as to what it is. Thoughts and prayers your way.

(BTW, I updated the site today, just 1 belly picture but I updated it. Added a new Table of contents too. You like???)

The closest thing I had to this was from my elbows down to my finger tips. Same type thing except not a lot of pain. Mine is similiar to carpel tunnel. I have never had surgery done or actually been tested for carpel tunnel, but going to the chiropracter helped a bit. Mine was so bad that I couldnt hold a cup or glass to drink because I couldnt feel it in my hand & I would drop them & break them. Ironically thats around the time my hubby thought we needed a dishwasher LOL!! Seriously tho....outside of carpel tunnel &/or something out of alingment, I dont know what to tell you Jenn! I feel so bad for you & cant do a damn thing to help!

This could be not at all related, but sometimes when my oxygen is low, or I have a major coughing spasm and get the 'wind' knocked out of me-my arms get numb, hurt and achy. But its not all day-just sporadically and then goes away after a few minutes.

I have had heavy feeling arms, tingling in my fingers and numbness before but I'm not sure if its the same as what you are feeling. I also have migraines, but dont take meds for it because they made me sicker. Have you ever check your O2 Sats when you arms fell heavy? I noticed when mine feel heavy my O2 Sat is low. When I had the tingling/numbness it was from being on the computer too much (i was in college at the time for my computer degree, i was on a computer for 12+ hrs in a day). I went to a Neurologist and had the carpel tunnel test, it was negative, but i was taken off the computer and had to wear braces on my arms/wrist at night to let them rest. My computer teacher told me to take a Super B Complex vitamin. I take one a day and the problem has pretty much gone away. I have a flare up every now and again. I dont know if this will help you but I just wanted to share, maybe you can get something out of my experiences. Hope you find out what is going on and get better soon.

I'm sorry to hear Jennifer! I don't have any experience like this. Sounds really good though that you'll be getting those tests done.

Please, keep us posted!
