Just curious. I recently got a new camera and have fallen in love with taking pictures. If you have some, let's see them. I'll post a few of mine as soon as I upload them to a hosting sight.
I took a photography class in high school. If I can find some of my old pics, I'll scan and upload them <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0"> We were taught to use photo manipulation in the darkroom, so most of them have some burning or dodging effects, double negatives...stuff like that. I still have the camera I used, too. It was a fun class...I wish I had access to a darkroom to work with those kinds of things again! But I do have PhotoShop, so maybe I'll try using that instead ^_^
I am, infact I asked my husband for a really nice digital camera for xmas this year. I would like to start taking pictures and get real good at it. I too have photoshop, which I use all the time and edit photos ect. My pic I have in my sig I done that on photoshop too!
I took filmmaking in High School! I got a 35mm about 12 years ago, and it broke and is in need of repair. Though these days, the digital camera quality nearly equals that of 35mm, the price doesn't!
My favorite subject was scenery, and moving objects, like auto racing, but there are most definitely others. got tons of photos of Japan!!
currently contemplating on Photoshop CS, or even Illustrator CS! (expensive!)
I've been photographing for nearly 30 years. I hate to sound like an old geezer but I've seen it all photographically speaking, 35mm to 4X5. film. In fact digital SLR's (interchangeable lens 35mm camera systems with digital sensors) do produce better images than 35mm film. I have quite a few technical articles on my web site that folks just entering the digital age may find useful. My web site URL is in my signature below. BTW, home on IV's for the last two weeks.... So, thought I'd drop by and see what's new here....
Steve, I just had to tell you, your pictures are great....I love them all but I am crazy about monkeys and I like you tiger ones.
Keep up the good work.
Debbie
