I think so. Just from experience, i don't know the science.
I found zoloft really drying. Within a few doeses it felt like I had cement in my lungs, and it went away after a week of being off it.
My experience with paxil was that i just could not hold it down. So, not much help. My shrink said she usually used it for people who had lots of anxiety along with the depression.
I'm on wellbrutrin, and that's worked well for me, as has Prozac. I know of lots of people who have done well on drugs that bothered me.

It's really a personal thing. You have to keep trying until you find one that works.
