anyone use gentamycin?

Does anyone use gentamycin (inhaled) anymore? I used to use it years ago, but it didn't mix well w/ Pulmozyme (caused hemoptisis), so I discontinued the gentamycin. Just wondering if the inhaled form is still prescribed or are we on to bigger & better (& more expensive) things these days?

we dont use inhaled gentamycin here. i dont think it has been used in cf iv treatment for a long time either.

I was wondering about that. I do still take Gentamicin. Once a day
through the neb.

I take entamicin inhaled once in awhile. My doc says with my mutations it has been found to be more effective than Tobi?????
