Are there ''mild'' cfers?

For sure the infections you mentioned can wreak havoc and cause damage.

That being said, I have had times where I've had terrible colds, felt like crap, tried oral antibiotics, did IV's and still never got back to my baseline after all of this...so I just assume that some kind of damage happened during this time period.

I guess my point is that it's not like we always just choose to "let" our lung function decline, that there are things beyond our control that can happen.
