are you struggling with cost of infertility treatments?

Is there any other cysta that is frustrated with the fact that these treatments are so expensive. I mean having a child naturally is expensive alone but then we have to add this extra expense just to make it all possible.

I was thinking that maybe there is a way to raise money to support us in need of assistance. I am brain storming on the idea. Maybe start my own website.
It would be great to come up with something to raise money, with the money going to help other cfers become parents.
I know this subject is controversal to some and im not looking for opinions on whether or not cfers should be parents.
I am looking for your input on whether or not this could work. From personally being affected by the cost associated with infertility treatments, i understand how it can be a financial burden. I am willing to put myself out there to help others in need.
Please if you have any ideas please let me know. Ive never started anything like this.

***UPDATE:***
I finally did it. My business has started! For now 2% off the profits will go to the cf foundation!!
I have an internet business selling handmade jewelry. So far i have one item on my website that just opened today. Next week i will add another product that is cf awareness earrings! So keep this in your prayers. Maybe some day i can say "i set out to accomplish my dreams and succeeded"! One day i will have enough money for my fertility treatments and then help other cystas and fibros become parents too. But for now i will donate some of my profits to the foundation and feel like i am contributing what i can towards my family to be <img src="i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif" border="0">!

Not exactly what you asked but have you considered adoption? You state you want others to help pay for you to have a child, yet there are thousands of existing children literally dying to have a family. Many of them (all foster-care adoptions) are free to you, and often even come with financial assistance after you adopt.

I know there is a strong desire to 'have' children, but as the father of both biological and adopted kids I think we all should consider what the goal is and realize that biology is not everything.

Just my .02 worth.

Disclaimer: I would give this same response to ANYONE, it has nothing to do with CF as I frankly feel we have some great parents w/CF on this site.

I commend the fact that you both have opened your home to children in need. My hat is off to you!
My husband and i are considering every option we have to create a family. Adoption is definately not out of the question. But i know we dont want to be faced with the foster/adopt system, and have that child taken back to the bio parents and not be able to adopt that child. That is a heartbreaking situation that i do not want to approach.
