My little nephew has got CF and the other day I was babysitting him and I was burning some aromatherapy oils. Then I had a thought could some of these oils be bad for him can some tell me if it is ok to use oils around him or not??
You must be careful with essential oils. Some of them can be harmful to children. I use EO to cure my daughter, but I do not diffuse EO when she is in the room. Apart from that, I think that burning EO is not the best way to use them, because heat destroys them. Diffusion would be better. And aromatherapy can be of great help in cf !
What kinds of aromatherapy can be used to help with CF? I have never heard of that before, but it does make good sense. I notice when I've taken a bath of eucalyptus when I had a cold, it helped relieve congestion. Are there other scents you would recommend? I have an electric diffuser, but I just use an Aveda scent to make the room smell nice. It would be great if there was something I could burn that would also help with shortness of breath and other symptoms of CF.
